The 38th International Electric Vehicle Symposium & Exposition

AVERE - The European Association for Electromobility

AVERE (The European Association for Electromobility) – founded in 1978 – promotes electromobility and sustainable transport across Europe. The Association is a non-profit organization governed by the Belgium law.

AVERE is the only European association representing and advocating for electromobility on behalf of the industry, academia, and EV users at both EU and national levels. Our membership consists of National Associations supporting the use of Electric Vehicles and electromobility across Europe, as well as a variety of companies ranging from carmakers to charging operators. We currently have active members in all European countries, and, via our association members, indirectly represent around 2.600 industry members and over 140.000 EV users.

EVS, the annual International Electric Vehicle Symposium and Exposition, is organised by AVERE, EDTA and EVAAP, the three members of WEVA (World Electric Vehicle Association). The EVS series rotates between Europe, Asia and America. It all began in 1969 as an academic forum for global networking and the exchange of technical information. Over the past 50 years EVS has grown and developed into an event that is both academic with over 500 papers presented and business oriented with several thousand square meters of exposition, ride & drive, etc.
